That’s a thing of beauty. I assume it’s done by pulling the puddle across and upwards as you weld along.

Beautiful craftsmanship...though I have to ask, is it as functional as it is wonderful?

Basically, is it as strong as other welds?

I always like the welds that looked like a row of coins, but this is amazing.

It would get you a wedding invitation. Ours. Alas, no matter how good your welding skills, my lovely wife would frown upon such a situation. In lieu of, I’m sure it would get you a master craftsperson union card in many places. If you can weld like that, anyone who can weld like that, good on you. You have my eternal jealousy. lol

I’ve never TIG welded before, so no, I can’t do that. But I can do MIG and gas welding. :)

And then there’s be, able to tack the loose frame nuts back in place so i can get on with the damn engine mount change. Oh well. Time to buy an old rusted out turbo car to practice on :D
